In order to reach and accomplish the objectives and goals set, TaLRO is led by a group of dedicated
and devoted professionals who work hand in hand with other members of the Organization,
all driven by the same purpose and course, that is; To restore and preserve the nature's ecosystem.
This board of professionals include;
Dr. Cuthbert Nahonyo is a chair of the Governing and Advisory Board with extensive and intensive experience in biodiversity conservation in Africa. Dr. Nahonyo supports TaLRO to ensure the team is well-coordinated, trusted, and operates effectively to achieve TaLRO’s mission and vision through various activities.
Dr. Jestina Katandukila is a secretary of the Governing and Advisory Board with extensive experience in conservation of fauna and range management in Tanzania. Dr. Katandukila plays a critical role to link the Governing and Advisory Board and the team of executives and volunteers at TaLRO.
Dr. Elikana Kalumanga is a volunteer Chief Advisor for TaLRO who provides technical backstopping to the executive team and volunteers on how to design and implement landscape restoration projects in Tanzania. Dr. Kalumanga also supports TaLRO on how to facilitate public-private partnership and genuine engagement of communities in restoration activities.
